Because of the success of last year’s toy appeal, Harrison’s Foundation is asking for your help once more.
As families struggle with rising living costs, Harrison’s fear is that children in our community will wake up on Christmas morning with nothing to open.
Last year, following the appeal, they were able to donate over 200 toys to the L6 Community Centre, L30 Community Centre, Kirkby Toy Appeal, and Radio City Cash for Kids Appeal, all thanks to the generosity of the group’s friends and customers.
This year, the Harrison’s Foundation is collecting new toys and cash donations in the run-up to Christmas, and every donation will be matched by the company. So, if you bring a toy to one of their locations, the local independent will exchange it for another toy. Alternatively, if you donate £10, it will be matched.
The appeal has begun and will continue until Monday, December 18. All toys received will be donated to various local charities, including the Kirkby Toy Appeal, Southdene Community Centre, and L30 Community Centre.
It is the latest effort by the Harrisons Bar Group (Abbey Road Bar & Kitchen, Harrisons Bar & Kitchen, Dwntwn, Scruffy Murphy & Scruffy Murphy Mathew Street) to support community groups. Friends and customers helped them donate over 200 toys to the L6 Community Centre, L30 Community Centre, Kirkby Toy Appeal, and Radio City Cash for Kids Appeal last year.
You can donate via the JustGiving here.Â
