easyJet is celebrating the arrival of an eighth aircraft at its base at Liverpool John Lennon Airport today, supporting 400 direct and indirect jobs.
The airport welcomed the arrival of its eighth A320neo aircraft, enabling the airline to offer even more choice and great value for money for flights and package holidays for customers in the North-West.
Over the past 12 months, easyJet has continued to grow its network at the airport, having launched eight new routes from Liverpool, including Malta, Fuerteventura, Prague, Berlin, Marrakesh, City of Derry, Sharm el Sheikh, and Split, which will depart for the first time on 9th June.
To mark the launch of its new summer routes, Liverpool John Lennon Airport will host an exciting treasure hunt across key city centre landmarks this afternoon. Participants who quickly uncover each location and answer the challenge questions will be rewarded with free flight giveaways and a variety of other prizes.
