A fast-paced comedy following the chaotic lives of three no-nonsense women is heading to the region this May, promising a night of high heels, even higher stakes, and plenty of laughs.
The latest instalment of the hilarious comedy play Desperate Scousewives – Lily’s Story is coming to the Brindley Theatre, Runcorn, on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st May.
The production follows the lives of three loud Liverpool women and one nervous newcomer as they navigate life, love, loyalty, and lipstick on a tightly knit street.
Susan, Vanessa and Lily dominate the neighbourhood with their big personalities and even bigger secrets.
However, the status quo is turned upside down with the arrival of Trisha, a single mum from Manchester, who finds herself thrown into the lion’s den of long-established friendships and fierce local loyalty.
A Cast of Comedy Legends

The show stars TV comedy legend Crissy Rock, known for her roles in Benidorm and I’m A Celebrity, alongside the show’s writer and director, Lynne Fitzgerald.
Packed with unforgettable one-liners and plenty of heartbreak and hilarity, the play is not for the faint-hearted.
Lynne Fitzgerald’s sharp writing brings the authentic spirit of the city to the stage, blending the domestic drama of a terraced street with the riotous energy that has made the series a cult favourite among local audiences.
