One of the world’s most recognisable cruise ships is set to return to Liverpool next week as Cunard’s Queen Anne makes another visit to the city’s iconic waterfront.
The luxury liner, which was officially named in Liverpool during a spectacular waterfront ceremony in 2024, will make its fourth visit to the city as part of a 12-night British Isles voyage. Queen Anne first captured attention when she departed Southampton on her maiden voyage to Lisbon before later arriving in Liverpool for her naming celebrations, which featured a performance from renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli alongside the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

According to Liverpool Cruise Port, the vessel is expected to arrive in the city on Wednesday, June 17, at around 8.30am and remain docked for approximately 12 hours before departing at 8.30pm.
To mark the occasion, Mersey Ferries has announced a number of special sailings, giving visitors the chance to enjoy close-up views of the impressive ship from the water.
Passengers joining the popular 50-minute River Explorer Cruise will be able to take in Liverpool’s famous waterfront from a unique perspective while also seeing the 1,058ft cruise liner docked in the city.
For those hoping to witness Queen Anne’s departure, a dedicated Farewell Cruise will set sail from Seacombe at 7.30pm and the Pier Head at 7.45pm, offering passengers the opportunity to watch the vessel leave Liverpool from the River Mersey.
Queen Anne’s latest visit is expected to attract plenty of attention from cruise enthusiasts and visitors alike, with the ship once again providing a striking addition to Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront.
