‘GREEN JANUARY’ at Maray
Available at all Maray restaurants (Dockside, Bold St and Allerton Road)
Popular Liverpool restaurant Maray have kickstarted 2020 with their ‘GREEN JANUARY’ promotion, which offers 50% off its vegetarian and vegan menu items!
Also offering 50% off their alcohol-free cocktails, the restaurant group recently started working with Carbon-Free Dining – an initiative where they add 99p onto every bill which is used to plant a tree in Tanzania, and have pledged to match every two trees planted by their guests with one of their own throughout January.
The restaurant quotes: “Green January is about celebrating our vegetarian, vegan and alcohol-free offerings, whilst shining a spotlight on the brilliant Carbon-Free Dining programme. CFD is an elegantly simple initiative that empowers our guests to plant a fruit tree in the developing world to counterbalance the environmental impact of their meal and simultaneously help put an end to poverty. This happens through a (discretionary) 99p contribution that is added on to every food bill, for every 99p donated, a tree is planted – it is that simple! We anticipate raising around £2,000 for CFD in January, meaning 2,000 trees, and for every two trees planted we pledge to plant one of our own, our target is 1,000.
We are also offering 50% off all of our vegetarian and vegan food, and if you know our menu that means most of it! We have always loved cooking (and eating) vegetables and they are such an integral part of the cuisine we take our cues from. We want to highlight the fact that a small reduction in your meat intake can be good for your health, and also good for the environment (and in this case very good for your wallet too). There will also be half price non-alcoholic cocktails throughout January for those going booze-free, or just for anyone that wants all the flavour without the fuzzy head the next day.”
GREEN JANUARY will be available from 1st January – 30th January, valid Sunday-Thursday (excludes Friday & Saturday).
The offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (lunch, early evening, group menu etc)
