A Christmas drink, whether it’s mulled, pulled or poured, comes with an extra splash of seasonal cheer at these festive venues in Liverpool.
Here’s a list of our favourites to ensure your Christmas nights are the most memorable!
Miracle on Seel Street
83 Seel Street, Liverpool, L1 4BB
The ultimate pop up bar and grotto for grown up kids is returning this year better than ever.
Salt Dog Slims secret bar ‘83’ will play host to the winter wonderland..
We couldn’t think of a more Christmassy place to spend our winter nights than here, imagine being cozied up in an armchair, suppin’ on mulled wine eating a mince pie, surrounded by Christmas trees while enjoying a movie with friends, perfect! We’ll be dreaming of pigs in blankets until it opens on November 16th.
Apres Lodge
Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1DP
After a long day Christmas shopping in the December frost what would be your go-to drink? Apres Lodge and Ice Festival have it covered whether you fancy a mulled wine or a hot chocolate (spiced rum if you need something a bit stronger). The perfect places to go with friends or family, snuggle up on the sofas and relax to some guest DJ’s.
Apres Lodge and Ice Festival will be returning to Liverpool this year with tickets being available from 10th November.
Bar Hutte – Under the Christmas Tree
Liverpool ONE, Wall Street, Liverpool, L1 8JQ
We’re pretty sure everyone will be familiar with the huge Christmas tree that sits in Liverpool One opposite John Lewis every year. But what you might not know is that there is a bar underneath that is home to the most delightful Baileys hot chocolate and a bit of festive karaoke all created within a mini village of Alpine huts complete with hot water bottles and blankets for the December chill.
Free to enter with no admission fee if you want to drink in the main bar, however we would recommend getting yourself into a hut which are available to book online with a deposit of £20.
Red Door
21-23 Berry Street, Liverpool, L1 9DF
Considered to be one of the cities best cocktail bars – it definitely maintains its title at Christmas. A speak-easy inspired bar that offers an unforgettable night out, also available for private hire for Christmas parties.
Some cocktails on offer include;
‘Miracle on Berry Street’ – mulled wine with a modern twist, sloe gin, malbec, orange juice, almond syrup and Christmas spices.
‘Smoking Santa’ – vodka, amaretto, cinnamon syrup, cranberry juice and Christmas spices.
We’re definitely looking forward to the new menu this year!
Camp and Furnace
67 Greenland Street, Liverpool, L1 0BY
This venue never fails to disappoint at any time of year, but Christmas they really come through with a plethora of events for you to choose from, including; ‘Knowing me, knowing yule’ featuring an ABBA tribute act and ‘Ye Nans Big Christmas Quiz – followed by her Front Room After Party’ – which speaks for itself really.
Even when there isn’t a scheduled event on, their roast dinners at Christmas are on a completely other level.
