Independent Street is set to return to Southport Market Hall this Saturday, 1 August, bringing its award-winning artisan market to the historic venue and surrounding streets.
The popular monthly event will showcase a wide selection of independent traders, artisan food producers and talented makers from across the region.

Visitors will be able to browse unique handmade gifts, homeware and crafts, alongside locally produced food and drink, local honey, hand-raised pies and much more.
Created to celebrate and support independent businesses, the market has become a popular destination for residents and visitors looking to enjoy a day out in one of the North West’s best-known coastal towns.
Live music from Jack Hamilton will provide the soundtrack throughout the day, while younger visitors can get creative at a free children’s arts workshop hosted by Mila.
The event offers an ideal family day out during the school summer holidays, with Southport Market’s independent traders also serving a wide range of food and drink.
Visitors can also explore the shops, attractions and local businesses located throughout the wider Southport Market Quarter.
Independent Street’s Artisan Market takes place at Southport Market Hall and the surrounding streets on Saturday, 1 August 2026.
