Lunyalita

Following in the footsteps of the award-winning Lunya, Lunyalita is certainly overflowing with character, bringing the saying to light “big things come in small packages”. The size of something does not always properly indicate one’s value, with Lunyalita being a smaller version of its famous big sister, the Catalan-inspired tapas restaurant is a refreshing addition to the Royal Albert Dock.

The venues location adds to the flavoursome delights it has to offer, with a picturesque view of the beautiful waterfront the tranquillity of Lunyalita brings that continental feel to the heart of the city.

Owners Peter and Elaine Kinsella decided on the idea of a “baby Lunya” after the success of Lunya Manchester and Liverpool and was keen to show that the brand could work in a different format on a smaller scale. Promising to be jam-packed full of character, the 150-year-old paving stones, vaulted ceilings and glorious sun terrace, the place does not disappoint.

Serving breakfast with a twist of classic Spanish, modern British and European, visitors can expect dishes such as the “Full Lunyalita” Chorizo, morcilla bacon, fried egg and a touch of homemade baked beans to Eggs Benedict with 2 poached eggs with a Piquillo pepper Hollandaise sauce on toasted bread with Jamon serrano. Also, with some great offers on divine food, fully take advantage of the All-inclusive deals and breakfast roll special offers that make your morning port of call that little bit easier on the purse strings. Lunchtime offers a large plates dining experience with an array of changing daily specials, with the evening bringing that authentic Catalunya tapas vibe to this truly stunning venue.

Overlooking the calmness of the iconic Royal Albert Dock, Lunyalita is set over two floors, a ground floor sun terrace with seating for up to 30 guests and an upstairs champagne balcony creating a relaxed atmosphere. Retaining the Dock’s historic charm, upstairs hosts a more formal dining experience, purposely designed to cater for private dining and meeting space (50 people), the ground floor is home to the café, bar and deli service.

If its new takes on healthy, light options, overstuffed sandwiches and real good hearty cuisine you crave, Lunyalita is the one for you. Whether it be palatable breakfast, wholesome lunch, evening appetizers or maybe a tipple while taking in the scenic views the place has to offer, pay a visit to this vibrant Spanish delight.
