Food at Duke Street Market

Duke Street Market will be launching their new children’s menu on Wednesday 19th February, just in time for the Half Term break.

To celebrate the launch, the first 25 children to arrive at the market on Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th at 12.00pm will receive a FREE dish.

A face painter will be at the venue on Wednesday and Thursday. Children will receive a colouring sheet and word search.

Dishes available include, hamburger and hand cut chips from red meat specialist Bone and Block, penne pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce or half Margherita pinsa from much-loved Italian Cucina Di Vincenzo.

Inflatable Adventure World at Exhibition Centre Liverpool

King’s Dock, Port of Liverpool, Liverpool L3 4FP

The UK’s biggest indoor inflatable theme park will make its debut at the Exhibition Centre on the Liverpool waterfront from 21st-23rd of February.

The three-day inflatable wonderland features 13 different attractions including a 20m high slide, a massive monster truck, 13m high helter skelter and a Nerf shooting range. There’s unlimited access to all the various inflatables during each two-hour session.

Organisers have also announced an autism friendly session on Sunday 23rd at 10am-12noon.

Tickets cost £10.99 (including booking fee) for unlimited access to a two-hour session which run on:

Friday 21st at 12noon-2pm; 2.30pm-4.30pm; 5pm-7pm and 7.30pm-9.30pm

Saturday 22nd at 10am-12noon; 12.30pm-2:30pm; 3pm-5pm; 5.30pm-7.30pm and 8pm-10pm

Sunday 23rd at 12.30pm-2:30pm; 3pm-5pm and 5.30pm-7.30pm.

Ages 2 and under are free. Spectator tickets are available for £3 (including booking fee).

Peace Doves at the Liverpool Cathedral

During this February half-term, Monday 17 February to Friday 21 February, the Cathedral Education Team are holding several dove-themed family activity sessions, where children with their parents or carers can write messages of hope and peace on the paper doves provided.

Each family-friendly session is free and lasts around 30 minutes, the doves will join thousands of others to create a large-scale installation above the well.

Liverpool Cathedral is free to enter and there’s child-friendly trails if you want to spend some time exploring the building.

Liverpool on Wheels: From horses to horsepower at National Museums Liverpool

A new vehicle collection will go on display for the first time in 20 years, showing highlights from National Museums Liverpool’s vehicle collection.

Liverpool on wheels: from horses to horsepower (14 February 2020 – 1 November 2020) will offer a unique insight into the fabulous array of vehicles built in and around Liverpool.   

Visitors to this fascinating exhibition can expect to see bicycles, carts and cars. From a Rushton Velocipede (1870) to a Range Rover Evoque (2012), each object is used as a gateway to tell the story of Liverpool’s impressive transport history.

Kids Half Price at Knowsley Safari

Take the strain out of the school holidays with a full day out to entertain the whole family this February half term at Knowsley Safari – and children go for half price. 

Visitors can take advantage of:

  • Entertain the kids with a full day out exploring the UK’s longest Safari Drive – and go around as many times as you like! 
  • Stretch their legs on the Foot Safari while discovering Amur Tigers and Iberian Wolves. 
  • Children up to the age of 15 go for £6.75 instead of £13.50, 15th – 23rd February. 
  • Attractions, rides and plenty of refreshment stops will ensure your pack is kept entertained all day long.
