Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh are set to open in Liverpool in just four weeks’ time, with both experiences promising new atmospheric immersive features which will receive their UK premiere in the city.

The Exhibition Centre Liverpool will welcome the memorable and moving multimedia attractions from Tuesday 15th July to Friday 15th August.

With the city hosting the UK premiere of Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh returning after a record breaking run in 2024, the exhibitions will be staged on different days throughout a four-and-a-half-week stay at the landmark waterfront venue.

And new for 2025, ticketholders for both experiences will be able to immersive themselves in captivating additions to the attraction as part of their visit.

Visitors will leave the main attraction space through new exit rooms which extend the magical world of both artists.

In Beyond Van Gogh a winding path will take art lovers along a Sunflower Alley between images of Vincent’s houses and landscapes with the route flanked by a host of bright giant blooms, while there are also benches where people can pause, contemplate and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

And for Beyond Monet, the Giverny Gardens will transport people to the French Impressionist’s beloved gardens where they will walk across a re-creation of the famous green bridge spanning a shimmering representation of his famous lily ponds and under arches of cascading blooms.

Meanwhile visitors are also being given the chance to dine in the middle of Monet’s iridescent impressionistic world in a special evening session on Wednesday 16th July, with a delicious gourmet three-course meal inspired by the French master’s artworks.

Prices start from £99 and include entrance to Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience, a Sunrise arrival cocktail, three-course meal and half a bottle of wine per person, with vegetarian and vegan meal options also available. More information is available here.

Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience brings together more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon’s paintings blended with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists, with people able to wander through iconic works – including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Terrace of a Café at Night – as they come alive around them.

Meanwhile Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience has been seen by thousands of people at venues across North America, and now it is coming to the UK, following in Beyond Van Gogh’s footsteps by being premiered in Liverpool.

In the immersive impressionist extravaganza, cutting-edge technology breathes new life into more than 400 of the legendary French painter’s artworks, taking visitors on a spectacular and unforgettable audio-visual journey through his captivating and colourful world.

Beyond Monet brings together some of the artist’s most famous canvases – including Poppies, Impression: Sunrise and his exquisite Water Lilies series – with lesser-known works which all swirl around the space, offering a fresh and exciting new look at much-loved masterpieces and a deeper connection with Monet, his subjects and his innovative technique.

Taking inspiration from Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris, the designated home of Monet’s works, visitors can freely roam the Infinity Room where they are transported inside the paintings themselves to the accompaniment of a moving original score.

There are a range of ticket options including VIP Experience tickets, and new for 2025, special family tickets and ‘parent and child’ tickets which offer great savings on individual prices.

And along with the Beyond Monet Dining Experience, a programme of other complementary activities includes Yoga, Pilates, mediation and painting sessions which will all take place within the immersive experiences.

Anna Parry, UK Business Development at Annerin Productions, said today:

“Last year we chose Liverpool as the place to premiere Beyond Van Gogh in the UK, so I’m thrilled to be able to reveal these new and enchanting features for the first time in the city too.

“It means there is even more to enjoy for those who want to immerse themselves in Vincent’s world – whether you are new to Beyond Van Gogh or returning to be transported all over again. And I know visitors to Beyond Monet will also love the Waterlily Alley which recreates the flower-filled landscape of his beloved gardens at Giverny.”

Colm Graham, Head of Partnerships, Hospitality and Exhibition Sales at Exhibition Centre Liverpool, added:

“With Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet opening next month, we can’t wait now to welcome Annerin Productions back to Exhibition Centre Liverpool for what we know will another memorable visit.

“We’re absolutely delighted they have chosen Liverpool as the place to premiere exciting new additions to both experiences. With so many ways to enjoy Van Gogh and Monet’s mesmerising masterpieces, art fans of all ages are in for a real treat on the Liverpool waterfront this summer.”
