LFC Foundation’s Run to Anfield 5K Returns for 2025

LFC Foundation’s Run to Anfield 5K Returns for 2025

The LFC Foundation’s much-loved Run to Anfield 5K is back for 2025 – and registration is now officially open! The event will take place on Saturday 2nd August, inviting participants to lace up their trainers for an unforgettable day of running and fundraising.

The 5K route winds its way through the scenic Stanley Park, with runners crossing the finish line on 97 Avenue before heading pitchside at Anfield Stadium to collect their official medal and snap a memorable souvenir photo.

New for 2025, the event will also include a 1K Fun Run – perfect for children, families, or anyone looking to enjoy a shorter route. It’s the ideal way to get everyone involved, regardless of age or fitness level.

By taking part, you’ll not only enjoy the unique experience of finishing inside one of football’s most iconic stadiums – you’ll also be helping to raise essential funds for the LFC Foundation.

All money raised supports the Foundation’s mission to tackle social inequalities and create opportunities for young people. The charity believes no child’s future should be shaped by their postcode – and events like Run to Anfield help deliver lasting change across our communities.

Participants are encouraged to aim for a £150 fundraising target via the official Run to Anfield JustGiving campaign. Once you’ve signed up, the LFC Foundation will send you everything you need to set up your fundraising page and get started.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a die-hard Liverpool supporter, or simply someone looking for a fun and meaningful challenge, Run to Anfield is open to all abilities.

All registered runners for both the 5K and 1K events will receive a special event t-shirt before the run, and a commemorative medal at the finish – a lasting reminder of your effort and support.

So why not get a group together, rally your family, friends and fellow Reds – and join us to run for a great cause!
