Everton will take on Italian heavyweights AS Roma in a high-profile pre-season friendly at the Club’s new waterfront home, Hill Dickinson Stadium, on Saturday 9 August (kick-off 3pm).
This eagerly anticipated fixture marks a major milestone, as it will be the first match played at full capacity in the 52,888-seater stadium. Following a series of successful limited-attendance test events, the game will serve as both the final stage of stadium commissioning and Everton’s final warm-up ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The match also gives Season Ticket Members their first chance to sit in their selected seats for the upcoming campaign—making it a landmark occasion for thousands of Blues.
To celebrate this historic moment, The Plaza will open from 12pm, offering fans the chance to soak in the atmosphere ahead of kick-off. From 1pm, supporters can explore the stadium concourses, enjoy live entertainment, and sample a wide range of food and drink options throughout The Plaza and inside the ground.

A phased priority window, incorporating the Club’s new ‘Forever Blue’ membership scheme*, will give eligible fans first access, as follows:
- Season Ticket Members from 10am on Monday 30 June, to only purchase their own Season Ticket seat
- Season Ticket Members / Forever Blue+ Members from 10am on Monday 7 July, to purchase any remaining available seats
- Forever Blue Members from 10am on Wednesday 9 July, to purchase any remaining available seats
- General Sale from 10am on Thursday 10 July (subject to availability)
