The city’s legendary musical heritage provides the setting for a high-impact collision of genres this autumn as a global phenomenon arrives on the Liverpool waterfront.
After captivating more than half a million fans worldwide with its fusion of rock, metal, and classical music, The Rock Orchestra will bring its explosive new arena show, Arena of Fire, to Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on Friday 2 October.
The performance represents a powerful evolution of the ensemble’s acclaimed live shows, transforming the arena stage into an immersive experience featuring explosive pyrotechnics, a full choir, and electrifying performers.
Audiences can expect a two-hour performance where classical precision meets the raw energy of iconic rock and metal anthems.
Brand-new arrangements and large-scale visuals combine with dramatic lighting to create a dark, cinematic world.
The music draws from the ensemble’s debut album, Classics Vol.1, which reached the top of the Official UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart in November 2025.
Iconic Anthems Reimagined

The show delivers orchestral takes on legendary tracks such as Zombie, Bring Me To Life, Nothing Else Matters, and Paint It Black.
The setlist also features powerful reinterpretations of music from bands including Motörhead, AC/DC, System of a Down, Linkin Park, and Iron Maiden.
The Rock Orchestra consists of a rotating collective of world-class musicians and vocalists.
With over 400 shows across multiple continents, the group has established a reputation for breathing new life into familiar favourites by blending orchestral depth with rock energy.
Nathan Reed, Creative Director and Producer of The Rock Orchestra, said:
“Arena of Fire is the most explosive version of The Rock Orchestra we’ve ever created.
“We’ve taken the scale and emotion of our orchestral arrangements and built a huge arena experience around them, with fire, pyrotechnics, incredible performers including The Fuel Girls, and a full choir driving the power of the music.”
