Prominent American alternative rock band The Lemonheads have announced a significant expansion of their upcoming autumn live itinerary, adding eight further British performances to their extensive European tour schedule.
Following three initial appearances across Ireland, the newly extended UK leg of the tour will kick off at The Subscription Rooms in Stroud on 20 September before traversing several major English towns and cities, bringing the comprehensive regional itinerary to 17 live performances.
The upcoming concert series coincides with a major creative milestone for the group, marking their return to the live circuit with fresh musical material.
Led by the ever-charismatic Evan Dando, the tour follows the release of The Lemonheads’ first studio album of original material in nearly twenty years, the highly acclaimed Love Chant.

The multi-city deployment includes a high-profile stop on Merseyside, embedding the influential East Coast outfit into the city’s historic live music landscape this autumn.
The Lemonheads will perform live at the O2 Academy Liverpool on Friday 25 September, marking a central fixture in their expanded touring network.
To deliver a diverse musical showcase, the touring party has recruited a critically acclaimed supporting artist to open each evening’s performance.
Joining The Lemonheads as the tour’s very special guest will be the highly acclaimed American singer-songwriter
Willy Mason, renowned for his unique blend of folk and indie rock that recalls Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, along with the cynicism of grunge and punk.
The upcoming autumn performances mark a deliberate return to live performance following an intentional period of professional reflection for the band’s enigmatic leader.
Looking ahead to the tour, Dando said:
“I had to take a break to reset, but I’m now ready and looking forward to a great tour.
“Touring is a huge part of my existence, and playing in the UK makes me extra happy.
“You’ve always made me feel so welcome, so I can’t wait to reconnect with you guys.
“And we have one of my favourite musicians, Willy Mason, opening for us throughout the tour, so come early and often.
“See you all at the shows.”

Willy Mason added:
“We’re tuning up our resonances to hit the road with The Lemonheads in our most fertile form.
“We’re on a mission to move molecules and make them boogie. Can’t wait, it’s gonna be a hoot.”
