Over 1,000 guests got into the Christmas spirit at Blakemere Village’s spectacular festive launch event for The Magical Woodland.
Stars from the stage, television, radio, and football were among the first to experience this year’s incredible light trail, which was set in 15 acres of breathtaking countryside.
Charlotte Dawson and her family kicked off the festive season alongside actresses Stephanie Davies, Sarah Jayne Dunn, Emile and Chantelle Heskey, and Radio City host Leanne Campbell, among others. Invited guests encountered the Grumpy Grinch in Whoville, were enchanted by the ‘Deck the Halls’ house before sailing across the high seas to visit Tinkerbell in Neverland, and came across the ‘Frozen Woodland’ on their way to meet Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their hardworking elves.
Winter coats, woolly hats, scarves, and gloves were donned by woodland walkers as they meandered through the enchanting and interactive forest walk with over a million fairy lights, multiple laser displays, digital animation, dazzling tunnels, and captivating canopies of lights and festive tunes, which transformed the autumn woodland into a world of pure joy and excitement, heralding the start of the festive season. This year’s trail is bigger and better than ever, and it was designed and built in collaboration with The Festive Group.
Paul Lally, from The Festive Group said:
