Everyone associated with the club and LFC Foundation is eagerly anticipating the arrival of Sven, a die-hard LFC fan, and his family at Anfield for a remarkable fundraising event that promises to be unforgettable. We cannot wait to see him in the dugout on that day and offer him a warm welcome.

The squad’s first players have been announced, including goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, who was a hero in Istanbul, and his fellow shot-stopper Sander Westerveld. Defenders Martin Skrtel, Fabio Auerlio and Gregory Vignal have also been confirmed, while attacking options will include Djibril Cisse and former Reds and Ajax forward Ryan Babel, who will feature for both sides in the game.

The club’s official training partner, AXA, will present a fixture where all the proceeds raised will go towards supporting the work of LFC Foundation and its charity partners. It’s important to note that 100% of the funds raised will be used for this purpose.

The LFC Foundation has organized two legends matches in the past, one against Manchester United and another against Celtic. These matches have raised an astonishing £1.45 million, which is now being used to support the foundation’s important work in the Liverpool City Region and beyond.

The announcement of players for LFC Legends will be made in the upcoming weeks before the game, which is presented by Forever Reds. Stay tuned to our various channels to discover which legends will participate.

Tickets for the Legends charity match are priced at £28 for adults, £8 for juniors and £18 for over 65s.
