The city is set to kick off Liverpool’s Pride 2026 in spectacular style, as organisers Sahir House unveil a star-studded first wave of artists for the Official Opening Party.
Taking place at the M&S Bank Arena, the event is designed as a bold, celebratory statement of unity and inclusion, blending world-class community performances with global pop royalty.

Leading the announcement in truly iconic fashion, Sugababes will headline the night with a full-scale greatest hits set.
Joining them is global LGBTQ+ icon Beth Ditto, performing her first-ever solo show in Liverpool. The line-up continues with drag superstar Bimini and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Tia Kofi, who also makes her Liverpool debut.
A Fusion of Global Icons and Local Talent
The evening promises a vibrant celebration of club culture and self-expression.
Pride dancefloor euphoria will come courtesy of Harrsn featuring the sensational House Gospel Choir, who return to the city for the first time since their unforgettable 2023 Eurovision fan festival performance.
Legendary Glitterbox stalwarts Horse Meat Disco will also return to deliver a special disco set to take the arena roof off ahead of the headliners.
The night will be hosted by Liverpool’s own Tyler DeClaire, alongside beloved local Queens Debbie Darling and Pam Sandwich.
The festivities begin with a dedicated Opening Ceremony curated by Debbie Darling, bringing together dozens of LGBTQ+ performers and voices from across the region in a powerful, unifying moment on the city’s biggest stage.
Strengthening the Future of Pride in Liverpool
Proceeds from the Official Opening Party will support the vital work of Sahir House for the LGBTQ+ community, while also contributing to the wider Liverpool Pride Saturday programme.
This year marks a landmark collaboration between Sahir House and the LCR Pride Foundation, aimed at creating an inclusive, representative, and community-rooted celebration.
Mark Christopherson, Trustee of Sahir House, said:
“We’re proud to launch our first-ever Opening Night in partnership with the M&S Bank Arena, a landmark moment celebrating LGBTQ+ culture on a scale it truly deserves.
“The night opens with a big party led by local LGBTQ+ artists appearing throughout, before Sugababes top the bill for a special headline moment.”
Ben Williams, Commercial and Business Development Director at M&S Bank Arena, said:
“M&S Bank Arena is where Liverpool comes together for its biggest moments.
“Bringing both global icons and local performers onto our stage is something truly special. We’re honoured to help launch a weekend that embodies unity, joy and inclusion.”
