Stagecoach, the UK’s leading bus operator, will run three dedicated matchday bus services this weekend to support the latest test event at Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The services, 918 from Kirkby, 919 from Liverpool city centre, and 939 from Bootle bus station, will provide fans with reliable, direct, and affordable transport to the new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The routes will be in operation on Saturday 9 August, when Everton wrap up their pre-season with a 3pm kick-off against Italian side AS Roma. The stadium’s first Premier League match will follow on Sunday 24 August at 2pm, with Everton taking on Brighton & Hove Albion.
All three routes offer direct access to the stadium. The 918 will start running three hours before kick-off, while the 919 and 939 will begin two hours prior. Return journeys will depart 10 minutes (919 and 939) or 15–20 minutes (918) after the final whistle.
Ticket Prices:
- Adult single: £2
- Adult return: £4
- Young person day ticket (MyTicket): £2.20
- Group return (4 adults): £12
Tickets can be purchased via the Stagecoach app, with contactless and cash payments also accepted.
Simon Tramalloni, Interim Operations Director at Stagecoach Merseyside, said:
“We’ve listened to passenger feedback from the first two test events and are proud to offer an enhanced network of services for the final fixture before the Premier League kicks off.
“Our 918, 919, and 939 services are all about making travel cost-effective, efficient and accessible for Evertonians across the Liverpool city region.
“Don’t let parking, traffic and long walks spoil your matchday experience, simply hop on one of our services and enjoy the build-up stress-free.”
These services will form part of Stagecoach’s ongoing matchday travel offer as the club transitions into its new home at Hill Dickinson Stadium, on the banks of the royal blue Mersey.
