The countdown is on for what promises to be the biggest and best Oktoberfest Southport has ever seen.
Taking place in a huge luxury marquee at Victoria Park on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October 2025, Southport Oktoberfest will deliver a weekend of Bavarian fun.
Expect live performances from the Bavarian Stompers oompah band, top DJs, authentic German food, and steins overflowing with Bavarian beer. Festivalgoers can even enter a competition to win a year’s supply of beer.
Southport Oktoberfest organiser and Elite Events owner Mark Dilley said:
“Our plans for Southport Oktoberfest are going extremely well! Tickets have been selling fast.
“With just a few days to go they will really start flying out and we want to make sure that people don’t miss out.
“This is going to be the biggest and best Oktoberfest that has ever been seen in Southport!
“It is going to be a non-stop party with lots of great live music and entertainment throughout.
“We have lots of people booked in, with groups of friends, people celebrating birthdays.
“We also have a wedding party coming in with the stag party coming in on Friday night and the hen party coming in on Saturday night!
“We have had some really great responses from people who have booked tickets, they are really excited about coming.
“Oktoberfest fancy dress is always welcome!
“We have pulled out all the stops to make this the best event possible.
“We have the Bavarian Stompers performing at each session; they’re one of the very best German oompah bands in the UK.
“We will have a DJ performing when they’re not on stage with the event hosted by Kam from Beer Guide Worldwide to keep the atmosphere going. Look out for lots of competitions and giveaways.
“People can enjoy amazing German beers provided by our brewery partner ABK, which has been brewing beer in Munich for 700 years.
“We will be providing four different types of beer – Hell, Weissbier, Pilsner and Dunkel, plus gluten free and 0%.
“There will be an opportunity for one lucky person on Saturday to win a year’s supply of ABK beer, with 365 bottles of beer to be won! All you have to do is purchase tickets to Southport Oktoberfest and show up for the party to give yourself a chance to win it.
“All the tickets are going into a prize draw, with the beers in the shape of a throne on the stage, and the winner’s name drawn out on Saturday.
“We will also be serving a range of wine, prosecco, cider, spirits and 0% drinks.
“Visitors can enjoy delicious bratwurst and currywurst sausages from Chris Stead, owner of The Southport Meat Company, who was recently awarded second place in the prestigious UK National Sausage Championships. The bratwursts are going to be good!
“Southport Oktoberfest is going to be held in the huge marquee currently hosting Southport Comedy Festival so it will be fully heated, seated and carpeted.
“We will soon be putting in the work to turn it around with lots of Oktoberfest style trestle tables and benches, and decorating the marquees with lots of German flags, bunting and lighting and a few little surprises.
“This is an Oktoberfest you won’t want to miss!”
