A much-loved animated character and his farmyard friends are set to arrive at one of the city’s premier destinations for a month-long celebration of family fun.
A Shaun the Sheep augmented reality trail will take over Liverpool ONE next month, launching alongside a line-up of activities specifically designed for the May half-term holidays.
Families are invited to embark on a free adventure with the Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock augmented reality (AR) trail, which brings the world of Aardman to life in 3D.
The experience allows guests to hunt down nine specific markers located throughout Liverpool ONE, with each one unlocking a unique and interactive AR scene.
Interactive Challenges and Character Encounters
The trail offers more than just a visual experience; families can complete various challenges with Bitzer the dog, pose alongside animated characters, and capture photos and videos of their journey to share with friends.
To make the most of the day, visitors can head to the Liverpool ONE information centre on Wall Street to pick up a trail map and a free Shaun the Sheep headband.
In addition to the digital elements, the destination will feature artist-designed Shaun the Sheep sculptures, providing further photo opportunities for guests as they navigate the site.
Upon completing the AR trail, families will be rewarded with a sticker prize.
Adults also have an incentive to participate, with the chance to win a £100 gift card when signing up for PLUS+, the free reward programme at Liverpool ONE.
Half-Term Highlights
The festivities extend into the May half-term break, with special appearances from Shaun the Sheep himself scheduled for Tuesday 26 May.
While the trail remains open to all, PLUS+ members will be granted priority access to tickets for these character meet-and-greet sessions.

The Shaun the Sheep AR Trail will be active at Liverpool ONE from Friday, 1 May to Sunday, 31 May.
To participate in the digital experience, guests need to download the Fun with the Flock app and enter the location code 0508, which can be done in advance or upon arrival.
For those who prefer a more traditional experience, guests are also welcome to complete the trail manually by discovering the markers throughout the centre without the need for an app download.
