Ryanair is expanding its Liverpool operation for Winter 2026, with six new routes and an additional aircraft to be based at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
The airline says the expansion represents a US $600m investment in the North West and will see its Liverpool winter capacity grow by 11% compared with Winter 2025.
Passengers will have six new destinations to choose from, with flights being introduced to Milan Bergamo, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Porto, Tirana and Warsaw.
Ryanair is also increasing frequencies on three existing routes from Liverpool, with additional flights to Krakow, Kaunas and Cork.
The expanded schedule will add more than 100,000 seats and means Ryanair will offer more than one million low-fare seats across 27 European destinations from Liverpool.
According to the airline, its Liverpool operation is expected to carry more than 2.6 million passengers a year, while supporting more than 2,130 local jobs.
The latest expansion will see Ryanair base a sixth aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport throughout the winter season, further strengthening its presence at the airport.

Ryanair Chief Marketing Officer Dara Brady said the airline was pleased to be increasing its investment in Liverpool and adding more choice for travellers across the region.
He said:
“We are delighted to celebrate more Ryanair investment and continued growth for the North West, with the announcement of a sixth Ryanair aircraft at Liverpool for Winter 2026 as well as six new routes to Milan Bergamo, Copenhagen, Gdansk, Porto, Tirana and Warsaw.
“Ryanair will also add extra flights on existing popular city break routes, like Krakow, Kaunas and Cork, driving 2026 traffic above 2.6m passengers per year.”
To mark the announcement, Ryanair has also launched a limited-time seat sale with fares starting from £29.99.
