Spice Thai to Open New Lark Lane Restaurant as Popular Liverpool Brand Continues Expansion

One of Liverpool’s most popular Thai restaurant brands is set to expand once again, with Spice Thai preparing to open a brand-new venue on Lark Lane.

Already well established in the city with restaurants on Castle Street and Bold Street, Spice Thai has built a loyal following thanks to its authentic Thai dishes, vibrant interiors and extensive menu of curries, noodles, stir-fries and street food favourites.

The new opening will mark the restaurant group’s third Liverpool location and its first venture onto Lark Lane, one of the city’s best-known destinations for independent food, drink and nightlife.

Bringing authentic Thai cuisine to Lark Lane

The new restaurant is expected to continue the formula that has made Spice Thai popular across Liverpool, serving traditional Thai cuisine made with fresh ingredients alongside signature curries, fragrant rice dishes, noodles and small plates.

Spice Thai first established itself on Castle Street before expanding to Bold Street in late 2025, where its second city centre restaurant quickly became another popular dining destination.

Today, both restaurants continue to welcome diners looking for authentic Thai flavours in the heart of Liverpool. Spice Thai Castle Street and Spice Thai Bold Street have both become well-known spots for lovers of Thai cuisine.

Another exciting addition for South Liverpool

While an official opening date for the Lark Lane venue has yet to be confirmed, the announcement is already generating excitement among food lovers eager to see the independent restaurant arrive in South Liverpool.

Spice Thai is known for serving authentic Thai cuisine, with a menu featuring traditional favourites including Pad Thai, Green Curry, Massaman Curry, Panang Curry, Tom Yum soup, crispy spring rolls and fragrant jasmine rice dishes.

Diners can also enjoy a selection of stir-fries, noodle dishes, Thai salads, seafood specials and vegetarian options, alongside classic Thai desserts and drinks.

With its growing reputation across the city, the latest opening represents another significant step for Spice Thai as it continues its expansion across Liverpool while bringing authentic Thai food to even more neighbourhoods.
