The largest independent operator in Liverpool, Pub Invest Group have created over 500 jobs across their various locations in the city.
The owners of well known popular sites such as McCooleys, Level, Rubber Soul Complex, Sgt Peppers and Brooklyn Mixer, are offering a range of new job roles available across the Pub Invest Group portfolio.
Pub Invest Group recently created another 100 jobs in Liverpool as the hospitality sector comes out of lockdown in April and now are adding to this across current sites such as Einstein and the two McCooleys sites. There will also be opportunities in new venues opening such as Blush, Revolver, The Hatch, The Rocking Horse and the eagerly awaited return of the city favourite the Zanzibar. Some venues like the Zanzibar will not open until Step 4 of the government’s roadmap which is at the earliest date of June 21st and includes nightclubs.
A spokesperson for Pub Invest Group said “We will be recruiting for over 500 jobs which will include management roles, supervisors, bar staff, floor staff and kitchen staff. Everyone knows it has been a tough time in all sectors since the pandemic began, but none more so than hospitality which has faced many challenges. We all hope the continued vaccine roll out and dropping R number means we can all look forward now and look to return to some kind of normal sooner rather than later.”
The news comes ahead of of the government’s roadmap passed last week, with outdoor hospitality now open and as we move closer to Step 3, which will include the opening of indoor hospitality on May 17th.
