Legendary hitmakers Nile Rodgers & CHIC are set to return to Haydock Park Nights on Friday 6 August 2027, bringing five decades of iconic disco, funk and pop anthems to the Merseyside racecourse.
The multiple Grammy Award-winning musician and his band will headline an evening of live music following an afternoon of horse racing, with fans promised a spectacular set featuring some of the most recognisable songs in music history.
As the co-founder of CHIC alongside bassist Bernard Edwards, Nile Rodgers helped shape the sound of disco and modern pop, creating timeless hits including Le Freak and Good Times.
His extraordinary career has also seen him work with some of the biggest names in music, producing and writing hits for David Bowie, Diana Ross, Madonna and Duran Duran.
From Let’s Dance and Upside Down to Like a Virgin and Material Girl, Rodgers’ influence spans generations, with his work contributing to more than 500 million album sales and 75 million singles worldwide.
More recently, he has collaborated with global stars including Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Daft Punk, Avicii, Disclosure and Sam Smith.

Renowned for their energetic live performances, Nile Rodgers & CHIC have become firm favourites with audiences around the world.
Their return to Haydock Park follows previous appearances at the racecourse, where they have entertained thousands of racegoers with their unmistakable sound.

Nile Rodgers & CHIC join Olly Murs on 2027 line-up
The announcement adds another major name to the Haydock Park Nights 2027 programme, with Olly Murs already confirmed to headline on Saturday 19 June.
The chart-topping singer has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular live performers, selling more than two million concert tickets and completing multiple sold-out arena tours.
Haydock Park Nights has become a popular fixture in the North West’s summer entertainment calendar, combining the excitement of live horse racing with headline performances from major music stars.
Each ticket provides access to both the racing and the concert, allowing visitors to enjoy an afternoon at the racecourse before the evening’s musical entertainment.
Racegoers can also choose from a wide selection of food and drink options, including street food and dining experiences at Haydock Park’s restaurants.
When do Nile Rodgers & CHIC Haydock Park tickets go on sale?
Tickets for Nile Rodgers & CHIC at Haydock Park Nights on Friday 6 August 2027 will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 6 November 2026.
A presale will take place at 10am on Thursday 5 November for people registered on the Haydock Park Racecourse mailing list.
