Peaky Blinders fans in Liverpool are in for a treat as a new Candlelight concert experience inspired by the hit television series arrives at St George’s Hall in January 2027.
Fever and Banijay Rights, the global distribution arm of Banijay Entertainment, have joined forces to bring Candlelight: Peaky Blinders to selected cities around the world, including Liverpool.

The special concerts will celebrate the music and legacy of the award-winning television drama, with some of its most memorable tracks reimagined in a classical format and performed by a talented local string quartet.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Liverpool’s St George’s Hall, the experience will combine the atmospheric music of Peaky Blinders with Candlelight’s signature setting, surrounded by hundreds of glowing candles.
Peaky Blinders Soundtrack Reimagined For Candlelight
Since its debut, Peaky Blinders has become renowned for its gripping storytelling, distinctive visual style and unforgettable soundtrack.
Music has played a central role in creating the atmosphere of the series, which follows the Shelby family and their rise to power in post-First World War Birmingham.
From Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ iconic Red Right Hand, which serves as the show’s instantly recognisable opening theme, to music by Radiohead, David Bowie and Arctic Monkeys, the soundtrack has helped establish Peaky Blinders as one of the most distinctive British television dramas.
The series also received widespread critical acclaim, winning the BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 2018.
Now, Liverpool audiences will have the opportunity to experience the music in an entirely different way, with classical string arrangements bringing a fresh perspective to the songs associated with the Shelby family.
A Unique Musical Experience At St George’s Hall
The partnership between Fever and Banijay Rights aims to introduce the music of Peaky Blinders to new audiences while offering existing fans an opportunity to reconnect with the series.
Kimberly Schmidt, Global IP Senior Team Lead at Fever, said:
“Candlelight’s mission is to bring classical music closer to a wider audience, including people who may never have attended a concert before. Together with Banijay Rights, we’re reimagining Peaky Blinders’ iconic soundtrack for Candlelight’s intimate concert setting, creating a special connection between audiences and the stories they love.”
Leila Loumi, Global SVP Licensing at Banijay Rights, added:
“Expertly curated musical moments have shaped the world of Peaky Blinders on-screen and our partnership with Fever brings that unmistakable soundtrack centre stage, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the world of the series and celebrate the music at its heart in a whole new way.”
The concerts will form part of Candlelight’s growing programme of live music experiences, which transforms familiar soundtracks and popular music into intimate classical performances at distinctive venues.
