This Summer Prescot high street will be home to brand new bar and bistro Kitchen 54, which promises to offer an experience the town has not yet seen before.
Co-owners James Platt and Craig Kennerdale secured a 5 year commercial lease on 54 Eccleston Street, located at the former Age UK premises and are excited to bring the street food craze to Knowsley.
Craig is no stranger to Prescot, with his last two roles based in the local town, his CV includes head chef at both The Lord Strange and Imaginarium Bistro. During his time in both of these amazing establishments, he has gained a strong understanding of the type of food and drink the local residents want to see.
With Prescot on the up, Jay said:
“Without going to Liverpool’s Baltic Market, Lark Lane or Allerton Road, there isn’t much on offer around Knowsley in terms of street food. What we look to provide you all with is everything you love about the cool, trendy casual dining vibe without having to travel too far away from your doorstep.”
Kitchen 54 sets to bring a unique rustic vibrant space with its decor based on an older Western Saloon style. The venue will also have a wide range of cocktails, world lagers and spirits available.
Bringing something the town has not seen before, Jay said:
“Prescot, is definitely on the up, with the addition of what we have to offer you all in terms of food, drink, cocktails acoustic nights and outside dining, we believe our new venture will be a great addition to the town we are proud to say we are from.”
The duo are set to pick up the keys this week, with the venue looking at opening around May/June time once the government guidance allows.
A taster of things to come, the team have released their menu on their social media which include an array of good hearty street food and healthy options also.
