Matsuri Records is to open in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle

Matsuri Records promises to provide an impressive selection of new and second-hand vinyl records. With a strong emphasis on international and World music, the store is poised to become a hub for those seeking new releases and rare finds from across the globe.

Craig and Paul, the passionate owners of Matsuri Records, have long nurtured a deep fascination for international music, especially hidden and forgotten treasures from around the world. In an effort to curate an unparalleled collection, they have forged partnerships with some of their favourite record labels, including Mr Bongo, Analog Africa, Soundway, Domino, Warp and Light In The Attic. Dedicated sections within the store will showcase exclusive releases from these esteemed labels, making Matsuri Records a must-visit destination for music lovers.

The name “Matsuri Records” derives from the Japanese word for festival and reflects the store’s commitment to celebrating the diversity and joyous nature of music.

Matsuri Records invites music enthusiasts, collectors, and curious minds to join them on their grand opening day, which will take place on Saturday 3rd June 20203 from 12pm onwards.  Along with opening day offers, they are planning DJs throughout the day and have partnered with their brewery neighbours to create a special beer for the launch.

The store will be open on Saturdays and Sundays, 12-5pm and will be located alongside the ever-popular Black Lodge Beer Garden.

For more information, please visit the Matsuri Records website at www.matsurirecords.com or follow them on social media channels for updates and special promotions.
