Liverpool’s Pride is set to take a bold new direction this year, with the city’s iconic LGBTQ+ march starting from the Pier Head for the very first time, moving away from its traditional route at St George’s Hall.
The updated route has been carefully planned to be fully step-free, wheelchair accessible and inclusive, ensuring that everyone in the community can take part in the celebrations.

The Pride March will begin at 11:30am on Saturday 26 July, with all members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies invited to join. This year’s procession will be proudly led by a representative group of local trans individuals, coordinated by Protect Scouse Dolls. They’ll be joined at the front by disabled and neurodivergent participants, placing visibility, inclusion and representation at the heart of the event.
The route will move from George’s Parade and the iconic Three Graces, along The Strand and through to Salthouse Quay, before ending outside the M&S Bank Arena.

From 12:30pm, the Arena will host a ticketed festival-style event, transforming into a vibrant standing space for music, movement, and celebration.

“Making sure that the route for Liverpool’s Pride 2025 was fully accessible was a key priority for the team at Sahir. The refreshed route for this year ensures that all members of the LGBTQ+ community are able to join the celebrations in their entirety.
“The Pier Head will transform into a rainbow of colours as the community comes together – providing a breathtaking visual of Liverpool’s determination, protestful and community spirit to the world.
“It has been a pleasure to work with Protect Scouse Dolls to put the local trans community at the heart of this march. I look forward to standing together with the rest of the community on 26 July.”
