Liverpool’s Autumn Property Auction Results

UK house prices have been the subject of much speculation ahead of next month’s budget. There is always uncertainty at this time but this didn’t put buyers off at the October Sutton Kersh Auctions live streamed property sale.

The Liverpool based auction house saw sales of just under £7 million worth of property. Much of the demand was around vacant residential Lots with investment potential, such as these examples.

Agar Road in L11 Sold for £136,000, which was £36,000 over its guide price. Following refurbishment and modernisation, this three bed semi-detached house would be suitable for occupation or investment purposes with a potential rental income of approximately £12,000 per annum.

St Domingo Grove in L5 is a three storey four bedroom semi-detached house in a derelict state of repair. The property would be suitable for a number of uses including a single dwelling, conversion to flats or an Airbnb investment opportunity. It had a guide of £65,000 and went on to sell for £102,000, so 60% over guide price.

Also in L5 was a four bed end-terrace house which again saw an exceptional level of interest. The property has previously been used as an Airbnb rental and would be suitable for continued use, subject to gaining the necessary consents, or alternatively could be used as a residential investment. This had a guide of £100,000 and sold for £138,000.

“Our 2025 property sales have reached £45 million to date and we have one auction left. Our winter auction is usually a busy one but it will be interesting to see what impact, if any, the budget will have on the auction, the industry and proprty market.”
