A Liverpool-based logistics company is calling on businesses and residents across the city to help collect 1,000 toys and gifts for disadvantaged children this Christmas.
Load & Go Logistics has launched its Christmas Toy Appeal in support of KIND, a Liverpool charity that has been helping disadvantaged children and families since 1975.

The company is hoping to spread some festive cheer by collecting 1,000 brand-new toys and gifts for children across the Liverpool City Region who might otherwise go without this Christmas.
As part of the campaign, Load & Go Logistics is working with local businesses to establish donation points across the region, making it easier for residents to contribute to the appeal.
The company is providing donation boxes and handling all collections and transport itself, allowing participating businesses to support the initiative without having to worry about logistics.
Shaun Amos, Founder of Load & Go Logistics, said:
“As a Liverpool business, we wanted to do something that would make a real difference to local children and families this Christmas.
“KIND has been supporting disadvantaged children and families in Liverpool since 1975, and we’re proud to be supporting the fantastic work they do.
“We’ve set ourselves a target of collecting 1,000 brand-new toys, and it’s been amazing seeing local businesses and communities getting behind the appeal.
“We’re providing donation boxes across Liverpool City Region and handling all the collections and transport ourselves, so we’re trying to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get involved.
“Liverpool is a city that always comes together when it matters, and hopefully we can show that again this Christmas.”
The appeal has already received fantastic support from businesses across Liverpool City Region, with several local venues signing up as official donation points.
These include Mini Moments in Speke, Team Mushin in Norris Green, Billy Whizz Barbers and The Fantail in Kirkby, McNamara’s Sports Bar in Crosby and PSD Sports Lounge in Bootle.
The campaign has also received a boost from Liverpool actor Tony Maudsley, who has recorded a special video encouraging people to get behind the appeal and help make Christmas brighter for disadvantaged children across the region.
With more businesses encouraged to get involved, Load & Go Logistics hopes to build on the growing community support and reach its target of collecting 1,000 brand-new toys and gifts for children this Christmas.
Supporting Liverpool children and families
Founded in 1975, KIND has spent more than five decades supporting disadvantaged children and families across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area.
The charity works to improve the lives of children affected by poverty and disadvantage, providing practical support, educational opportunities and experiences that help young people build confidence and reach their potential.
Its Christmas appeal is particularly important for families facing financial pressures during the festive season, helping to ensure children can experience some of the excitement and joy of Christmas.
Through the partnership, Load & Go Logistics hopes to make a meaningful contribution to KIND’s work while encouraging businesses and communities to come together for a good cause.
How to support the Christmas Toy Appeal
Businesses across Liverpool City Region are being encouraged to get involved by hosting a donation box, while residents can support the campaign by contributing brand-new toys and gifts.
Load & Go Logistics will take care of distributing the collection boxes and transporting donations, helping to make participation as straightforward as possible.
With a target of 1,000 toys, the company is hoping that Liverpool’s community spirit will help make this Christmas a little brighter for children and families who need additional support.
