Which? reveals Liverpool John Lennon Airport as one of the best UK airports to travel with, based on thousands of customer experiences.
The recent survey revealed the best and worst UK airports to travel from ahead of people booking their next holiday, with the report highlighting passengers finding themselves stuck in long queues, or crammed into overcrowded terminals, having to pay for an overpriced snack just to find somewhere to sit down.
The survey also shown that there are some airports where you can expect to breeze through security and find smiling staff able to help if you have a problem, with the Liverpool airport ranking high as one of the best places.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport scored 83%, with the pluses being passengers parked easily, had a short walk to the terminal and got through check-in and security in no time. It got the maximum five-star rating for every queue – including the wait at passport control.
As per the Which? survey one passenger said, ‘It’s much smaller, less manic and so much more civilised than Manchester,’.
The rating on the report are based on Which? members who completed an online survey from August 2022 about their experiences of flying from and to a UK airport in the last two years. The results are based on 7,963 Which? member experiences.
