Liverpool Basketball has announced a new multi-year partnership with adidas ahead of its first season at the M&S Bank Arena.
The agreement will see Liverpool Basketball become the only adidas-supplied basketball club in the UK from the 2026–27 season, joining the sportswear giant’s portfolio of basketball clubs across Europe.

To celebrate the partnership, adidas will also provide free admission for fans to Liverpool Basketball’s inaugural home game at the M&S Bank Arena on Sunday, 25 October.
Match kit, teamwear and authentic jerseys will be available through the Liverpool Basketball club shop, while a full adidas team merchandise collection is due to launch in November.
The partnership is being delivered alongside Specialist Sports, adidas’ Southampton-based teamwear licensee and kit supplier.
Liverpool and adidas already share a strong cultural connection, with the brand having played a prominent role in the city’s relationship between football, fashion and terrace culture for decades.
Generations of Liverpool football supporters helped transform adidas trainers from sports footwear into a major cultural statement, contributing to the terrace fashion movement which became recognised across Britain and beyond.
Jason Dolan, founder and owner of Liverpool Basketball, said:
“This partnership is about much more than what we wear on the court. As a club we’re building something ambitious, something authentic to this city and something that people can be genuinely proud of. What I love about adidas is they didn’t wait to see what we’d build, they came at game number one, so we could build it together, with the fans, from the very first jersey to have adidas alongside us on that journey is a huge statement of intent and it starts the way it should: our first home game ever, Sunday 25 October at M&S Bank Arena, free for every fan, courtesy of adidas, because this should start with a full house from the first tip. There will only be one first game and I hope you’ll be there.”
The new partnership arrives as Liverpool Basketball prepares to begin its first season at the M&S Bank Arena, bringing elite men’s basketball into the heart of Liverpool city centre.
The club hopes its arrival at the waterfront venue will introduce thousands of people to professional basketball and create new opportunities for local players while delivering a major new sporting experience for the city.
Free admission to the club’s first home fixture is designed to allow as many people as possible to experience the occasion.
Liverpool Basketball has been established with ambitions to make the city a major force in British basketball while developing local talent and inspiring a new generation of supporters.
Neil Latimer, Senior Category Manager for Teamwear at Specialist Sports, said:
“It’s fantastic to bring adidas basketball teamwear to Liverpool Basketball as the sole adidas-supplied club in the UK. We’re proud to be delivering the kit and merchandise that will support the club both on and off the court.”
Ben Williams, Commercial & Business Development Director at M&S Bank Arena, said:
“There will only ever be one first game. When Liverpool Basketball steps onto the court at M&S Bank Arena for the very first time, we’ll be creating a moment that becomes part of the city’s sporting history. We want everybody to have the opportunity to be there, whether you’re a lifelong basketball fan or have never watched a game before.
“This club belongs to Liverpool. We want families, communities, schools and sports fans from across the city region to experience that first tip-off together and say: ‘I was there.'”
