In the Park is set to make a huge return to Liverpool next summer, with global superstar Lewis Capaldi confirmed as the 2026 headliner.
The much-loved event will once again take over Sefton Park on Saturday 15 August, where Capaldi will play his biggest outdoor headline show in the city to date.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of his sold-out 17-date arena tour across the UK and Ireland, his first in two years, which has seen him delight fans with a run of hit-filled performances and the debut of new material that’s already earned glowing four- and five-star reviews from critics. It also follows his sixth Number 1 single, Survive, which recently became the fastest-selling track of the year so far.
Bringing thousands of fans together for what promises to be an unforgettable summer night, Capaldi’s headline slot marks a major moment for In the Park 2026, further strengthening its reputation as one of the UK’s standout live music events. The show will see one of Scotland’s most cherished artists take centre stage in the heart of Liverpool for a landmark celebration.
