The Real Thing and The Farm Confirmed to Headline Knowsley Music Festival 2026

  • June 5, 2026
  • By Editor - Elliot Thompson

The Knowsley Music Festival is set to return this autumn for its fifth year, bringing a fantastic programme of live music to venues across the borough throughout November.

This year’s line-up promises a mix of legendary performers, iconic sounds and feel-good entertainment, with three headline shows taking place in Huyton and Kirkby.

Kicking off the programme on Friday 6 November, multi-million-selling soul band The Real Thing take to the stage at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.

Featuring original vocalists Chris Amoo and Dave Smith, audiences can expect a night packed with disco classics, including You to Me Are Everything, Can’t Get By Without You, and Can You Feel the Force, alongside support from DJ Les Spaine.

On Friday, 13 November, The Farm will perform at St Chad’s Church in Kirkby.

Best known for their chart-topping album Spartacus and the anthemic hit All Together Now, the band’s energetic live shows and socially conscious sound continue to resonate with audiences more than three decades on.

Closing this year’s festival on Saturday, 28 November, the Spice Girls Theatre Show brings a high-energy celebration of one of the world’s biggest pop acts to the stage.

Featuring all the biggest hits including Wannabe, Say You’ll Be There and Spice Up Your Life, this tribute show promises a fun-filled night of nostalgia, impressive vocals and party atmosphere.

Unearthing Local Underground Talents

Alongside the headline programme, the Knowsley Music Festival Fringe will return, showcasing local talent and grassroots music events across the borough.

More information about the fringe programme and how to be part of it will be announced in the coming months.

Harnessing Five Historic Years of Pure Cultural Magic

The Knowsley Music Festival was launched in 2022 as part of Knowsley’s year as the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture.

Since then, it has hosted a range of celebrated artists including The Lightning Seeds, China Crisis, The Christians, John Power, Space and Paul Young, establishing itself as a key cultural event in the borough.

Further details on how to book tickets will be released soon.
