Cosmic rock collective HENGE have announced their most ambitious live undertaking to date: a 75-date world tour spanning the UK, Europe, Canada, USA and Mexico, with more countries yet to be announced.
As part of the massive global run, the band will be playing in Liverpool on 1st April 2027 at the Invisible Wind Factory, bringing their unique sci-fi sounds to the city’s North Docks.
The initial announcement includes 18 dates across the UK and Ireland, including stops at some most beloved venues.
Kicking things off at The 1865, Southampton’s largest independent venue, the band will also make stops at the Brudenell in Leeds, New Century in Manchester, Trinity in Bristol, and more.
The announcement arrives on the back of a viral breakthrough, the band’s live clip “DNA” surpassing six million views across all platforms and triggering a wave of sold-out shows – confirming HENGE as one of the most compelling live acts to emerge from the UK underground in years.
HENGE’s live shows are immersive, theatrical and joyful events that have earned the band a fiercely devoted following.
Occupying a unique space between rave and prog rock, their sci-fi electronic rock is the kind of music that makes more sense in a room full of people than it ever could through a screen.
The world tour marks HENGE’s first-ever dates in North America, as well as their most extensive European run to date.
An undertaking of this scale can mean only one thing and that is new music is on the way.
Merseyside Underground Electronic Scene and Invisible Wind Factory Debut
The choice of the Invisible Wind Factory for the Liverpool leg of the tour highlights the band’s strong connection to the region’s alternative and electronic music heritage.
Known for hosting high-energy live performances and immersive art installations, the venue provides the perfect backdrop for the group’s space-age aesthetic.
Local fans of the North West underground music scene can anticipate a highly visual production that utilises the venue’s renowned sound and lighting capabilities to full effect.
International Touring Milestone Figures and North American Routing Plans
Crossing over from domestic festival favourites to international touring artists, the upcoming tour represents a significant scale-up in operations for the collective.
With 75 shows booked across 17 different countries, the logistics of the tour mark a milestone achievement for an independent project originating from the North of England.
Ticket sales for the initial UK and Ireland dates, including the Liverpool performance, are expected to see high demand following the group’s recent digital media success.
