The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is inviting families to celebrate the season with a line-up of free, family-friendly activities and workshops.
The much-loved Bunny Tail Trail is back for 2026, bringing eggs-tra fun additions for visitors exploring the historic quay during the school holidays.
Running from 30 March to 12 April, the trail challenges children to hop around the dock in search of 16 colourful bunny vinyls.
Each bunny displays a letter that helps spell out a hidden Easter phrase, giving participants the chance to win a spectacular day out at the dock.
Hunt for Prizes and Free Workshops

The adventure begins on the inner quay, where families can collect a free trail map, a pair of bunny ears, and a sticker from either Roly’s Fudge or The Nest.
Once the hidden phrase is unscrambled, it can be submitted via the dock’s website.
The lucky winner will receive a prize package including a family ticket for Splash Tours, arts and crafts goodies from The Nest, and treats from Roly’s Fudge.
New for this year, families can also enjoy free, drop-in workshops and activities, perfect for keeping busy throughout half term.
From 12pm-4pm on 31st March, 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th and 9th April, little ones can get into the spirit of the season by heading to Revolution to create colourful Easter paper wreaths, or to PANAM for themed face-painting.
Adding to the atmosphere, a special Dock Shorts animation will be projected onto the facade of the Maritime Museum from 3 April to 6 April between 8 pm and 10 pm, transforming the landmark with a vibrant seasonal display.
Seasonal Dining and Dockside Shopping

Beyond the scheduled events, the dock remains a hub for holiday entertainment.
Visitors can take a ride on the Victorian Carousel, test their wits at Escape Hunt, or explore the Fab Four’s journey to stardom at The Beatles Story.
The waterfront’s restaurants and retailers are also joining the celebrations with seasonal specials.
Miller and Carter is offering a sharing board complete with roast Shropshire chicken and lamb rump, while Roly’s Fudge has introduced a limited edition Hot Cross Bun fudge.
For those looking for gifts, The Nest is stocked with colourful prints, and Harbour Accessories features floral, lightweight scarves perfect for spring.
With its unique mix of fun-filled activities, seasonal treats, and picturesque waterfront setting, the dock remains a top destination for an unforgettable Easter outing for all ages.
