SERIES THREE – EDITION THREE

In the latest edition of our ‘Faces behind the Business’ series, we caught up with Lee Kelly, Managing Director/Producer of LHK Productions, a theatre & pantomime production company.

When did you first get into the industry?

I was very much into dancing around to all the Pete Waterman songs back in the late 80’s so my parents put me in a stage school from when I was 10 years of age and all developed from there really.

When did you start LHK Productions and what is your role?

LHK was established in 2005 and I am the Managing Director/Producer.

What is LHK Productions ethos?

The company’s ethos is about giving the audience a fun and traditional pantomime but with a fresh and current twist.

What’s the best bit of advice you could give to anyone looking at working in your line of work?

To get yourself into a great theatre school from a young age.

What do you love most about Liverpool?

The city centre is looking stunning these days with all the developments so its great to visit in the winter.

If you could describe LHK Productions in 3 words, what would they be?

Dynamic, fun, captivating.
