Everton Stadium second test event confirmed

Everton Stadium second test event confirmed

The date of the second Everton Stadium test event has been confirmed, with supporters set to get another opportunity to see inside the Club’s new home on Sunday 23 March.

Last month, the state-of-the-art waterfront stadium opened for the first time with a crowd of more than 10,000 watching a historic Under-18s friendly.

The second test event – a friendly involving Everton Under-21s – will be a daytime affair, with a minimum of 25,000 supporters to be granted entry for the 2pm kick-off*.

Thousands of fans have already claimed tickets for the second test event via a ballot held in January.  With the date now confirmed, shareholders, Season Ticket Members, Hospitality Members and 2025/26 Premium Bars, Restaurants and Experiences Members will be given a second opportunity to secure a seat when tickets go on sale from 10am on Monday 3 March.

In the interests of fairness, and to guarantee all Season Ticket Members have had the opportunity to experience a test event, supporters who attended the first Everton Stadium test event will not be eligible to purchase tickets during this priority window.

Subject to availability, tickets for the second test event will then go on sale to Official Members and first test event attendees from 10am on Thursday 6 March.

Tickets, which will be issued digitally†, are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions (under-18s and 65+) and will be allocated in designated areas of the North, East, South and West Stands. Qualifying supporters will be able to choose their preferred stand and tier, and tickets will then be allocated automatically based on the best available seat(s) in that area at the time of purchase.

Supporters will be able to secure their seat(s) online or over the phone by calling 0151 556 1878 or by visiting the Goodison Road box office.

Supporters who were successful in the ballot for the second test event but cannot attend on Sunday 23 March should contact the Everton Fan Centre so a full refund can be issued.

Representatives of Everton fan groups, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, Liverpool City Council, transport providers and consultants met on Friday (28 February) to discuss travel and transport plans for when Everton Stadium officially opens this summer. More information specific to the second test event, including details on travel, parking and the matchday experience, will be communicated to attendees closer to the time of the match.
