easyJet has announced two new routes from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Girona and Murcia in Spain, giving passengers more options for summer holidays in 2027.
The airline will begin flying from Liverpool to Girona on 28 March 2027, with services operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
It will mark the first time in easyJet’s history that the airline has operated flights to Girona from any UK airport.
A second new route from Liverpool to Murcia will launch on 29 March 2027, with flights running twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
Girona, in north-eastern Spain, offers easy access to Catalonia and the Costa Brava, with the city known for its historic old town, medieval architecture and food scene.
The destination is also well placed for holidaymakers looking to explore the beaches and resorts along the Costa Brava.
The new Murcia route will connect Liverpool passengers with south-east Spain, including its coastal resorts and popular sunshine destinations.
Both routes are now on sale through easyJet’s website and mobile app.
easyJet holidays is also offering package holidays to both destinations, combining flights with hotel accommodation.

The two additions continue easyJet’s expansion at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
During summer 2026, the airline based an additional aircraft at Liverpool, taking its total number of aircraft based at the airport to nine and increasing the number of flights and destinations available.
easyJet currently operates an extensive network from Liverpool, connecting the city with destinations across Europe and North Africa.
