Dovestone, Yeoman Hey & Greenfield Reservoirs are three beautifully set reservoirs at the foot of the Pennines in Saddleworth with stunning scenery and backdrops.
Walk starts at Dovestone Reservoir. Stick to the left side of the reservoir and you’ll come across all three.
To get to the top you can either climb the water stream that you’ll see at the end of Greenfield Reservoir (this is where you’ll find the waterfall but can be quite challenging so be careful).
If you want an easier route, you’ll see the entrance to the path on the right side of Dovestone Reservoir (when you get to the end of it).
Either way it’s well worth going to the top for some great views.
