Croxteth Hall Market Returns This Weekend With Independent Traders And Local Food

  • July 21, 2026
  • By Editor - Elliot Thompson

A popular market is returning to one of Liverpool’s most historic locations this weekend, giving visitors the chance to browse independent stalls, discover local produce and explore the stunning surroundings of Croxteth Hall.

The Croxteth Hall Heritage Market will welcome visitors on Sunday 26 July, bringing together a collection of independent traders offering handmade crafts, food, drink, artwork, vintage treasures and more.

Set within the grounds of Croxteth Hall and Country Park, the event will offer a relaxed day out for families, shoppers and anyone looking to support local businesses.

Explore Croxteth Hall While Browsing Local Stalls

Following the success of previous heritage markets held at locations including St George’s Hall and the Cunard Building, Liverpool City Council has brought the market concept to Croxteth Hall this summer.

Visitors can browse around 40 independent traders, with stalls featuring a mix of handmade gifts, jewellery, artwork, artisan food, crafts and unique items that cannot be found on the high street.

The market also allows guests to discover more of Croxteth Hall’s history, with self-guided tours allowing visitors to explore the former home of the Earls of Sefton and its impressive Tudor, Georgian and Queen Anne interiors.

A Family-Friendly Day Out In Liverpool

As well as shopping and exploring the historic venue, visitors can enjoy a wider day out at Croxteth Hall and Country Park.

The event is designed to showcase local independent businesses while encouraging people to spend time in one of Liverpool’s most recognisable heritage locations.

Food and drink options will also be available, with visitors able to take a break during their visit and enjoy refreshments while taking in the surroundings.

The market is part of a wider programme of events celebrating Liverpool’s markets scene, with regular craft, street food and specialist markets showcasing independent traders from across the region.

The Croxteth Hall Heritage Market takes place on Sunday 26 July 202 at 10 am until 3 pm, and entry to the market is free.

Visitors can also look ahead to further Croxteth Hall market dates later this year, with additional events planned throughout the summer and autumn.

Whether you are searching for handmade gifts, local food, vintage finds or simply a family day out surrounded by history, Croxteth Hall market offers a chance to discover something different this weekend.
