Nationally renowned jewellery brand Say It With is celebrating a decade in business this July, marking 10 years since founders Charlotte Donoghue and Steph Porter first launched the company from a dining table idea.
The Liverpool-born brand, formerly known as Say It With Diamonds, was founded after the two new mums met for lunch and discussed ways to earn some extra money. Combining their shared love of jewellery with a strong sense of business ambition, Charlotte and Steph started with just a handful of pieces and began investing, marketing and selling their collections themselves.


What began as a small venture has since grown into a major retail success story, with the business now generating more than £5 million a year and said to be worth tens of millions of pounds.
Say It With has become a nationally recognised name, loved by celebrities and customers across the UK. The brand now has a flagship store in Liverpool and has built partnerships with major retailers including Matalan and Debenhams.

As the business has grown, Charlotte and Steph have also expanded and developed the brand to serve two separate markets. Say It With Diamonds now focuses on fine jewellery, natural diamonds, bespoke requests and wedding jewellery, while Say It With offers lab-grown diamonds, costume jewellery, personalised pieces and a growing men’s collection.
The company’s rise has been driven by innovative social media, marketing and influencer campaigns, alongside a strong focus on affordable, stylish and diverse jewellery. Its reputation for customer service has also helped the brand continue to grow and maintain a prominent place within the jewellery industry.
This year, Say It With has launched several new collections, featuring timeless and elegant pieces designed to appeal to its loyal customer base. Many of the collections are released in limited numbers and often sell out quickly, showing how closely Charlotte and Steph continue to understand their audience.
After 10 years of hard work, determination and sleepless nights, Say It With remains one of Liverpool’s standout retail success stories, with a growing national presence and ambitious plans for the future.
