Slim’s, the popular American-inspired gourmet diner on Bold Street, is celebrating National Hot Dog Day this Friday 10th September by giving away 100 of its delicious hot dogs.
100 free hot dogs are up for grabs and for every hot dog given away, Slim’s will donate to a dog charity – bring your dog with you and the donation goes up!
The hot dogs will be given away on a first-come-first-served basis from when Slim’s opens at 12pm.
Slim’s will be serving it’s delicious Korean Hot Dog – a spicy hot dog sausage served in a brioche bun topped with kimchi style pickle, mustard mayonnaise and a sriracha ketchup.
For vegan guests, there’s Slim’s Vegan Korean Hot Dog – a spicy vegan hot dog sausage with all of the same trimmings.
Renowned for their delicious meat dishes and meat-free alternatives, Slim’s is a must-visit for delicious American food, along with it’s unique interior and moreish cocktail menu.
Guests are encouraged to get down early to snap up their free hot dog, and can add one of Slim’s indulgent loaded fries including its famous Lo Pan Fries topped with salt & pepper Sui mai, curry sauce, spring onions, red chilli, char Sui and sriracha.
Or the diner’s Poutine Fries with confit duck, duck gravy, Monterey Jack cheese and a fried egg.
There’s also a selection of plain fries available, as well as a range of tasty vanilla, banana, strawberry, chocolate and mocha shakes.
John Ennis, Director of Slim’s, said:
“GSG Hospitality has had a love of hot dogs so we thought this was a great opportunity to celebrate the occasion. We’re all dog lovers and so it’s also a chance to give back to the dog community! All our venues are dog friendly – so come and enjoy a dog with your dog and we’ll donate the proceeds to an amazing local dog charity.”
