Evertonians have spoken – ‘The Prince Rupert’ will be the name of the newly christened fan-named pub on Village Street at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
More than 6,000 supporters cast their votes in an online poll to help name this exciting new addition to the lively, fan-centric area on Level 3 of the West Stand.
Exclusively open to supporters with a membership or matchday access to Village Street, The Prince Rupert will offer a warm, social atmosphere deeply rooted in the Club’s heritage.
The name emerged from a fan-curated shortlist, inspired by local history, football tradition, and Everton’s proud legacy. The winning choice pays homage to the historic lock-up depicted on Everton’s crest—named after a 17th-century figure—beautifully blending tradition and community pride into the heart of the matchday experience.
