Renowned for bringing classical music to unique spaces that celebrate each city’s cultural heritage, Candlelight® will be presented for the very first time at The Florrie this autumn.
From 18 October, the historic venue will be transformed into an intimate setting glowing with thousands of candles, beginning with a tribute to Pink Floyd.
The Florrie provides the perfect backdrop for this globally loved concert series, which has already enchanted audiences in more than 150 cities. Candlelight concerts have taken place in some of the world’s most breathtaking locations — from modern rooftops and iconic cathedrals to palaces, libraries, and gardens. Standout venues include the Atomium in Brussels, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai, Central Hall Westminster in London, and Niagara Falls in Ontario.
In Liverpool, performances will be brought to life by a talented local string quartet. Candlelight is known for collaborating with musicians who share its belief that classical music should be accessible to everyone. The series offers something for all tastes, from timeless works by Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin to fresh interpretations of hits by Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, and more.
In the warmth of a candlelit atmosphere, audiences are invited to immerse themselves in a one-of-a-kind experience that blurs the lines between the classical and contemporary.
