Bowring Park is set to deliver a packed programme of festive activities in the week leading up to Christmas, bringing the community together with music, crafts, family fun and special seasonal visits.
Throughout December, Bowring Park in Huyton, has been hosting a series of creative workshops, performances and family-friendly events, but from 21st there will be a festive finale of activities.

The highlight of the programme is the Christmas Family Fun Day on Monday, 22 December, running from 10.30am to 5pm, transforming Bowring Park into a Christmas hub for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy Christmas crafts, wreathmaking, face painting, forest school activities, nature trails, carousel rides, carols, festive treats and warming drinks including mulled wine and hot chocolate. Special visits from Santa and the Grinch will add to the festive atmosphere.

Live music has also been a key part of Bowring Park’s Christmas celebrations, with performances from local choirs including Wall of Sound Choir and Sound Together Choir, helping to create a warm and inclusive seasonal experience for the community.
Festivities continue on Tuesday, 23 December, with Story Time with Santa taking place from 12pm to 1pm, followed by a magical visit from Elsa (Frozen) from 1pm to 2pm, offering families a final opportunity to enjoy Christmas moments before the big day.

The programme forms part of Bowring Park’s wider commitment to community wellbeing, creativity and togetherness, ensuring that Christmas is accessible, welcoming and full of shared experiences.
All events are open to the public, with selected activities free or low-cost to ensure families can take part during the festive season.
