Get ready for a day of barking fun as Bowring Park and Golf Course proudly presents the ‘Bow-Wow-Ring’ Dog Show in partnership with the Dogs Trust, Merseyside
Scheduled for Saturday 21st October, the event will take place from 11am-2pm, it promises a day filled with wagging tails, furry friends, and valuable insights for dog lovers of all kinds.
The picturesque Bowring Park will serve as the perfect backdrop for this exciting event, and all dog enthusiasts are invited to join in on the fun. No pre-registration is required, simply turn up with your pooch on the day.
TRAINING SESSIONS FOR CANINE COMPANIONS:
The event will feature informative and engaging training sessions that will benefit both dogs and their pawrents. Expert trainers from the Dog’s Trust Dog School will be on hand to provide guidance and support in various areas, including:
– Loose lead advice: Learn how to ensure your dog walks comfortably and safely on a lead.
– Recall: Discover effective techniques to improve your dog’s recall skills and keep them safe.
– Stop jumping up: Tackle those overenthusiastic greetings and train your dog to greet guests with paws firmly on the ground.
COMPETITION FOR TOP DOG HONOURS:
The Show will also host an exciting competition that showcases the talents and uniqueness of each dog. Categories include:
– Cutest dog: Bring your furry friend to the stage and let their charm shine.
– Best trick: Demonstrate your dog’s exceptional skills and see if they can take wow our judges
– Fancy dress: Get creative and dress up your dog in a costume for a chance to win fantastic prizes.
– Best old-timer: Celebrate the wisdom and experience of senior dogs in this heartwarming 8+ category.
