On Saturday, 20th July, Camp & Furnace in the Baltic Triangle will host a huge Battle of the Bands-style event in support of the Whitechapel Centre. 25 of the most talented artists in the region will compete in the extraordinary showcase, with the winner determined by celebrity judges and an audience voting system.
Primal Live starts at 5pm, with 5 heats of 5 artists and the winner of each one going onto the final later that evening. Before the audience votes via a dedicated app, celebrity judges Jake O’Neill of The Voice UK, Lauren McQueen of Hollyoaks, and country legend Ethan Allen will provide feedback. Additionally, there will be huge raffles with top prizes up for grabs!
This event is an absolute must-attend for fans of The Voice and The X Factor, as it will feature a wide variety of highly talented artists, including loop-pedal maestros and dazzling female vocalists. The audience is afforded the opportunity to hear the celebrity judges’ feedback prior to voting for the winner of each heat and the final at the conclusion of this entertaining and interactive showcase.
Andy Sampson and the Primal Events team are hosting the inaugural Primal Live event at the majestic Camp & Furnace. Having organised countless corporate and charity boxing events over the years, the team has a big charity ethos and occasionally hosts big charity events such as this.

Through ticket sales and the huge raffles on the night we aim to raise thousands for their work providing shelter, essentials and support for those who are destitute. Competitors will be hoping it may lead to the same kind of success as celebrity judge Jake O’Neill, the Liverpool busker who went on to greatness on The Voice UK! The event is a great opportunity for the artists, whilst raising money for a chBarity that does vital work in the city.
