A Travelling Carol Singing Trio are to bring a unique musical doorstep experience to people who are in challenging circumstances, whilst providing employment to artists this Christmas.
Holistic Harmonies – a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Liverpool – have brought creatives together during these exceptional times to promote joy and connection to isolated and vulnerable members of the region’s communities.
The group has been running a GoFundMe page and has found support from many members of the local community, as they aim for their target of £5000. They have also received over 30 nominations so far from people who would like to give the gift of a ‘Musical Mood Boost’ to someone they love this Christmas who they feel is deserving.
The group are also commissioned to provide workshops to specific participant groups with partner organisations, including Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres with Merseycare Life Rooms.
Director, Rachel Hilton said “We will be travelling from place to place over the 10 days before Christmas. Many hours of work and preparation will be going into this project, curated by a team of just six people. Any donations that can support our work will be hugely appreciated; the more donations we get, the more work we will be able to do!”
