One of Liverpool’s oldest late-night bars, MOJO Liverpool, has today announced that it is relocating to a new venue in August 2023.
The cocktail bar, known for its electric atmosphere and legendary rock n’ roll soundtrack, will be moving from its current site at Back Berry Street to a new unit in the Liverpool ONE complex.
After 15 years at its current location, the bar will be upgrading to a larger two-storey 3,500 sq. foot venue with longer opening hours. Open from midday until 3am seven days a week, the new MOJO Liverpool will offer a menu of over 100 cocktails, beer pong, cocktail masterclasses, and bottomless brunch. Those looking for a space to host a small event or party can also hire out the bar’s second storey private bar space.
MOJO Liverpool’s unique pizza menu will feature dishes inspired by iconic musicians, including a ‘Sgt. Peppers’ pizza in tribute to Liverpool’s own The Beatles. Live Sky Sports will be available to watch at the venue with special offers redeemable on matchdays, such as a free slice of pizza with any cocktail, beer or spirit and mixer purchased.
The new venue will open its doors in late August and create eight new jobs, with the team recruiting from the local area for various roles including bartenders, waiting staff and chefs. In the meantime, MOJO Liverpool will continue to operate as normal from its established site on Back Berry Street.
MOJO Managing Director Martin Greenhow said:
“After 15 years of killer tunes, awesome cocktails and late-night dancing on the bar, MOJO Liverpool will temporarily be turning down the volume as we leave Back Berry Street at the end of August 2023. But the party won’t end there, as we’ll be opening our new site at Liverpool ONE just a few days later.
“Our team have carefully crafted a venue right in the heart of the city centre that will continue MOJO’s legacy of music for the people, food for the soul and good times forever. We can’t wait to welcome long-time regulars and new guests to the new venue and the new era of MOJO Liverpool.”
